A man wanted in connection to the murder of a La Ronge woman in December was arrested in Prince Albert Feb. 4.
Charlie Napthalie Charles, 25, was arrested by Prince Albert Police and is charged with first degree murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement.
Five people are charged with the murder of Sheena Marie Billette, 28. Her body was found seven kilometres north of La Ronge on Hwy 102 on Dec. 23, 2019.
Four people were charged with first degree murder and kidnapping and forcible confinement including, Charles, Deborah McKenzie, 24, Telsa McKenzie, 30, and Shares Justice Sutherland-Kayseas, 31.
Kandi Rose Ratt, 27, was charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Ratt was located in Christopher Lake, Sask. and arrested by Prince Albert RCMP.
Sutherland-Kayseas, Deborah McKenzie and Telsa McKenzie were arrested in La Ronge on Jan. 13.
Deborah McKenzie and Telsa McKenzie appear in La Ronge court Feb. 27 via CCTV to have the first charge, first degree murder, to be spoken to, and a show cause hearing on the kidnapping and forcible confinement charges.
Sutherland-Kayseas remains in custody and appears in La Ronge provincial court Feb. 13 to have the charges spoken to.
Ratt also remains in custody and appears in Prince Albert provincial court Feb. 20 to have her charges spoken to.
Charles was remanded in custody and makes his first appearance in La Ronge provincial court Feb. 6.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
