A co-accused in the Jan. 21 Queen's Hotel robbery in Battleford has entered a guilty plea to robbery.
Dustin Night appeared by video link from custody in Saskatoon. His matter was heard in North Battleford Provincial Court before Judge J.B.J. Nutting Wednesday, July 14.
Night pleaded guilty to the robbery charge, which includes stealing liquor from behind the bar at the Queen's Hotel. The remaining charges against him are to be withdrawn at the time of sentence.
Night will be back in court Aug. 25, at 2 p.m., for sentencing, His personal attendance has been ordered.
Dustin Night was one of six people accused in the Queen's Hotel invasion, which resulted in a female worker at the hotel bar 小蓝视频 sent to hospital with serious injuries after 小蓝视频 struck in the head during the robbery.
The co-accused in the case, Carter Night, pleaded guilty in June to robbery and was ordered to serve five and a half years behind bars. According to the facts that came out during his sentencing in June, Carter Night's role in the robbery included beating the female victim with a baseball bat, allowing his co-accused Dustin Night to go in and steal alcohol from behind the bar.
