PRINCE ALBERT - Update, Sept. 27: The individual whose remains were found in the North Saskatchewan River by Prince Albert RCMP has been identified as a 39-year-old male from Leask, Sask. He is not 小蓝视频 identified at the request of his family, who have been notified.
Initial reports indicate the death was not suspicious in nature. The Prince Albert Police Service and Saskatchewan Coroners Service continue to investigate.
Background: On Sept. 21, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a deceased individual in the water of the North Saskatchewan River near the Cecil Ferry.
With the assistance of the Prince Albert Fire Department, the remains of a deceased individual were located and removed from the river.
The identity of the individual has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy will be completed.
Prince Albert RCMP, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, continue to investigate.
