MUDIE LAKE FIRST NATION - Update, Oct. 21, 3:17 p.m.: As a result of subsequent investigation by Pierceland RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, the male’s death on Mudie Lake First Nation has been determined to be non-suspicious in nature.
Original post, Oct. 17, 2:58 p.m.: On Oct. 16, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Pierceland RCMP received a report of a sudden death at a residence on the Mudie Lake First Nation. Officers immediately responded and located the individual, who was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.
Pierceland RCMP are investigating the sudden death with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
Currently, the investigation has not identified a risk to public safety, say RCMP, who add that updates will be provided when available.
