P.A. Police investigating man's death

Police responded to a weapons complaint at a home in the 700 Block of 17th Street West. When they arrived, they found the man with a significant injury and he was determined to be deceased.

PRINCE ALBERT – Prince Albert Police are investigating after a 29-year-old man was found deceased Thursday.

Police say that on Dec. 15 at 2:42 a.m., they responded to a weapons complaint at a home in the 700 Block of 17th Street West. When they arrived, they found the man with a significant injury. Parkland Ambulance attended the scene and determined the man to be deceased.

The Prince Albert Police Service Forensic Identification Section along with the Criminal Investigation Division and Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.

An increased police presence can be expected for the remainder of the day in the 700 Block of 17th Street West. 

Police say an autopsy will be conducted and further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
