PRINCE ALBERT – Prince Albert Police’s Crime Reduction Team arrested two people and seized illegal drugs.
On Nov. 1, officers were investigating reports of drug trafficking in the city and arrested a 32-year-old man in the 600 Block of Marquis Road East. He was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of proceeds of crime, resisting arrest, and breach of parole conditions.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police seized more than 130 grams of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, a scale, cell phone, more than $400 in cash, and drug packaging materials.
They both appeared in Prince Albert court Friday.
