MELFORT — Community members of all ages will be able to find clubs and hobbies at the first Melfort city-wide spring registration night since the pandemic began.
Leonard Whitney, Melfort’s facility manager, said this is a good chance for community members to find a new activity.
“Some people still aren’t aware of all the activities Melfort has to offer and it’s a great chance to get out and touch base with some of the groups,” Whitney said.
Some of the clubs and organizations who have already confirmed their attendance include Aspiring Artists, Wheatland Calligraphy, Melfort Minor Football, Kinsmen Minor Football, Melfort Minor Baseball, Northeast Christian Academy, Northern Lights Wood Carvers, Northern Lights Quilting, Skate Melfort, Taekwondo, NESPCA and Marlins Summer Swim Team.
The last time the city held a spring registration night was 2019.
“With COVID everything got delayed and set back, so we’re just trying to get back to our normal type of operations, having a spring and fall registration night,” he said. “We’re excited that we’re 小蓝视频 able to host this again and are looking forward to things getting back to normal.”
The event will take place in Swartout Hall at the Kerry Vickar Centre on March 31, at 7 to 9 p.m.
To register a table, clubs are asked to either email the city at [email protected] or call 306-752-7906.
