Meadow Lake RCMP seeking woman wanted for forcible confinement, assault, mail theft

A warrant has been issued for Brenda Partridge鈥檚 arrest and Meadow Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate and arrest her.

MEADOW LAKE — Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating a serious assault and forcible confinement, along with mail theft, and are seeking the suspect who is at large.

On Jan. 29, Meadow Lake RCMP received a report of a woman in distress at a residence on 3rd Avenue West in Meadow Lake.

Officers entered the residence and located an injured adult female inside. Investigation has determined that she had been threatened and assaulted by multiple individuals earlier that day, then forcibly confined. She was taken to hospital with injuries that are described as non-life-threatening.

While officers were investigating, they noticed a large quantity of mail in the residence. They secured the residence, then obtained and executed a search warrant. The mail was seized and is believed to be connected to ongoing investigations into break-ins to mail boxes in Meadow Lake. Meadow Lake RCMP previously notified the public of these investigations in November 2021 and January 2022.

As a result of investigation, Brenda Partridge, 37,of Meadow Lake has been charged with:

  • 1 count, aggravated assault, Section 268(2), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, forcible confinement, Section 279(2), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, possession of matter stolen from mail, Section 256(1)(b), Criminal Code

A warrant has been issued for Brenda Partridge’s arrest and Meadow Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate and arrest her.

She is described as approximately 5’8” and 300 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Officers continue to investigate these incidents with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford General Investigation Section and North Battleford Forensic Identification Services.

They ask anyone with information on Brenda Partridge’s whereabouts, the identity of the other individuals involved in the assault/forcible confinement, or the mail thefts to call the Meadow Lake RCMP at 306-236-2570.
