SASKATOON - A man is facing several drug- and firearm-related offences following a police seizure in Saskatoon.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Sept. 5, investigators with the SPS Crime Reduction Team (CRT) conducted enforcement action as part of a drug investigation. With assistance from the Saskatoon Police Tactical Support Unit (TSU), two search warrants were executed at a business in the 700 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
As a result of the investigation, police seized two prohibited rifles; a loaded pistol; a shotgun; ammunition; multiple knives; cocaine; fentanyl; methamphetamine; and drug paraphernalia.
A 39-year-old man has been charged with 21 drug- and firearm-related offences. Five other people have been charged with a number of breaches of court-ordered conditions, and also had a number of outstanding warrants for arrest.
A total of 24 charges were laid as a result of this investigation.
