A Battleford man accused of sexual assault against minors will return to court next week.
David Smith appeared by video link from Saskatoon in provincial court in North Battleford July 19. His case will be back in court July 29 for a scheduled show cause hearing, again by video link. Smith is in custody for charges including sexual assault and sexual interference against minors, and numerous charges of offering cigarettes to minors. There are now five new charges against Smith which brings the total number up to 18.
