July 30 at approximately 10:40 a.m. Spiritwood Detachment Members responded to a head-on collision on Highway 3, 7km east of Spiritwood.
Three vehicles were involved, one male age 86 was pronounced dead at the scene and two other males were transported to Shellbrook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
