THE BATTLEFORDS — Highways in the Northwest continue to be subjected to wet conditions, with a tendency to freeze, offering up icy and slippery sections to drivers.
Some areas, including the Battlefords and Saskatoon, have had rain and/or snow Thursday morning. Winds have been gusty as well, with some roads seeing loose snow along with the wet conditions.
The icy conditions follow Highway 4 all the way to the border with the U.S.
As is usual in March, it's a good idea to check the before heading out.
