Friday is the last day for vaccine clinics at the CAT Finning building west of Battleford as the Saskatchewan Health Authority is discontinuing drive-thrus and most appointment booked clinics in favour of targeted outreach.
The CAT Finning building will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Friday. The venue has been a popular destination for residents to receive their vaccines, contributing to a total of more than 658,000 Saskatchewan residents 小蓝视频 fully vaccinated.
Mobile clinics planned for the Battlefords in coming days are:
Friday, Aug 6 – 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Frontier Mall Farmer’s Market;
Wednesday, Aug. 11 – 8:30 a.m. To noon at the Immigration Resource Centre, Railway and 106th Street;
Thursday, Aug. 12 and Friday, Aug. 13 - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the North Battleford Library;
Thursday, Aug. 19 and Friday, Aug. 20 – noon – 7 p.m. at Territorial Days;
Saturday, Aug. 21 – noon - 4 p.m at Territorial Days;
Saturday, Aug. 21 – 5:30 p.m – 7 p.m. at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club.
The mobile clinic scheduled for Friday, Aug. 6 – 9 a.m. - 11 a.m, at Valley Ford has been postponed.
COVID-19 immunizations will continue after Aug. 8, but through walk-in/pop-up clinics at public venues throughout the province, as well as through participating community pharmacies by appointment. Appointments booked online will continue for some smaller centres where pharmacy immunization is unavailable.
