A fire north of North Battleford destroyed combines, a tractor and a number of other vehicles and shop tools in the early hours of Monday morning.
The fire took place about 13 kilometres north on Highway 4 and three kilometres to the west. The call came in to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services around 3:15 a.m.
Three apparatus and eight personnel were on the scene battling the blaze for a little over three hours. Also on the scene was RCMP and EMS. The fire was confined to the shop area of the farm.
A dollar estimate of damage is not known, but the fire department does say the contents of the shop at the farm were a total loss. Lost in the blaze were two combines, a grain truck, a small tractor, two passenger vehicles as well as numerous shop tools.
