Cash was stolen from a Wilkie business that was broken into overnight Jan. 23-24.
Unity/Wilkie/MacklinRCMPsay the culprits forced their way into the building, located at the intersection of Highways 14 and 29, and spent a significant amount of time inside using a grinder and other tools in an attempt to gain entry to the building's safe. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
