PETER POND LAKE - Buffalo Narrows RCMP are reporting a missing boater has been found deceased.
On Friday, RCMP responded after receiving a report of a missing boater.
After investigating, police determined the man's boat was located idling in Peter Pond Lake.
Officers along with local residents and conservation officers with the Provincial Protective Services Branch began searching the water and shoreline for the man.
On Saturday, the man's body was located in the water. He has been identified as a 61-year-old from Buffalo Narrows. His family has since been notified.
Buffalo Narrows RCMP thanks all those who assisted in the search.
