The recipients聽of the coveted聽Dimensions聽Awards聽 were presented by the Saskatchewan Craft Council online on Tuesday June 29.
Juror David Freeman and Exhibitions Coordinator Maia Stark hosted the virtual presentation of such prestigious awards as the聽Gale Steck Memorial Award for Excellence in Craft from an Emerging Artist; the聽Jane Turnbull Evans Award for Innovation in Craft; and the top prize, the聽Dimensions 2021 Award for the Outstanding Entry.
Dimensions聽is聽the SCC鈥檚 touring, juried, exhibition of contemporary craft open to all Saskatchewan craftspeople. 83 artists submitted 130 pieces to the聽Dimensions聽Jurors, David Freeman and Jane Kidd.聽Dimensions聽is a dynamic, colourful exhibition of 35 excellent fine craft pieces in a wide variety of media, which can be viewed in SCC Gallery until Aug. 28 in Saskatoon.
