Some days I wonder how to start. A case of "writer's block" is an unpleasant feeling especially when I feel my ramblings mean nothing to anyone but myself. However, I will start with my observations of the spring farming activities. Seeding is well underway and a number of operators are finished. Cattle are 小蓝视频 moved to their summer pastures. The smell of smoke and billowing smoke in the distance as well as fires close to home shows how much rain is needed in the near future.
This brings me to the plight of a young family in our area, who lost their home in the early morning hours of May 13. Jim and Charlotte Bec and their four young daughters lost all that they owned when their home burned. Donations of clothing, household supplies, toys etc can be dropped off at the home of Jake and Danielle Troesch. The girls are ages 8, 6, 4 and 1. There has also been a trust fund set up for the family at the Edam Credit Union for those who wish to help with a financial donation. All and any assistance is welcome.
