Wildlife federation scores the take

It was back to school for the students at Maymont Central School Wednesday.

Our thanks to Bob and Dorothy Caldwell, who donated $100 to the Maymont Hall from the sales of the Legends DVD.

Maymont Settlers upcoming home games are Jan. 11 and 21.

Happy Birthday to Bill Melrose, Cathy Gillatt, Tom Caldwell, Judy Sherman and Sarah Beaudoin and to anyone else I may have forgotten.

This is a little late but is a great news item.

Fielding Wildlife Federation held their annual meeting and horn measuring in the Radisson Hall Dec. 8.

Guest speakers were Conservation Officer Les Olson and Brad Dahl, Region 2 director. Brady Ferris gave a presentation of his activities at Conservation School during the summer of 2010.

Door prize winners were Cody Zyzomirski and Myron Prescesky. The prizes were donated by the Radisson Co-op.
