Harvest has been in full swing with above normal temperatures. The long weekend was a bit on the cool side and we even had to start the furnace in our camper one of those evenings. However it was a lazy weekend for us. There were things we should have been doing, but it was nice to sit back and read a good book.
The students returned to school Aug. 31, with the SRC holding a welcome back assembly in the first class of the day followed by the students settling into their home rooms.
