Arlee Lumgair recently enjoyed a week's holiday with her brother, Jim Doolittle and his wife Delores and her sisters Gail Morgan and Dorothy Kivimaa. Travelling by motor home they arrived in Minot, N.D. Sept. 27. They spent most of their time at the Scandinavian Festival, enjoying the variety of musical entertainment provided. Saturday they returned to Saskatchewan with a two-day stop at Plentywood, Mon. and a days' stop at Flaxcomb, arriving home Oct. 4.
The Sandra Sutherland family celebrated Thanksgiving Oct. 8 at the home of Crystal Sutherland. Turkey and all the trimmings were enjoyed by all. Some of the family members there came from out of town including Eva Sutherland of Pine Island Lodge and Jamie and Michelle Sutherland of Calgary.
Among the guests for Thanksgiving weekend with Arleen Lumgair were Arthur and Janelle Lumgair and family of Lloydminster, Kelly and Jim Lacombe and family of Lloydminster, Shawna and Arland Lumgair of Meadow Lake, Tracy and Dustin Calvert and family of Meadow Lake and Leah and Preston Nabis and family.
Kenneth and Carol Sutherland travelled to Calgary to spend Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. It was a beautiful weekend for travelling.
