Denholm Curling Club held their annual bonspiel Feb. 4 and 5 with nine teams entered and $1,400 given out in prize money.
Despite the warm temperatures that day, and having to shut down for four hours to cool down the ice surface, participants managed to finish the bonspiel. A great time was had, including some spirited Kaiser games during the shutdown.
Allan Hoffman's foursome won the A event. Second was the Bret Baptist team. Bob Guest topped the B event and Glen Morrison's foursome was second.
The event was made enjoyable and successful by all those who participated and watched, the men who made the ice and the prize money sponsors.
