Jean Stewart, Tillie Linkert, Theresa Kennedy and myself went to Waseca last Thursday to the volunteer awards night where Gill Churn, Howie and Joan Smith, Arlee Lumgar and Kevin Schimelfenig were given awards. It was an enjoyable evening and a very good meal. Congratulations to you all.
Tillie Linkert had her daughter, Bev Nicholson of St. Walburg come and they made Easter bread together. They had a great time visiting and baking.
A number of the apartment ladies enjoyed the March-April potluck birthday supper at the Seniors Centre. After supper they enjoyed playing cards and shuffle board.
Marion Stoughton took me to Turtleford on Saturday and Neilburg on Sunday to the quilt shows. It is really fantastic to see what people can sew. Beautiful work.
Marion Stoughton took her mother, Jean Stewart, to Lloydminster for a medical appointment and to do some shopping.
Hope everyone had a happy Easter.
