More and more Ski Doos are 小蓝视频 seen in and around the village creating a more normal winter landscape. Hopefully everyone will ride safe and do it for the fun of it! Once again Doug Lamb is voluntarily spearheading the trail marking project. Hopefully he will need to go grooming very soon.
A big thanks goes out to all who have helped remove snow from the village sidewalks. Many hands make light work! I know that our seniors appreciate 小蓝视频 able to move around town on the sidewalks.
The village has changed the day of garbage pickup to Wednesday at 9 a.m. The garbage will be picked up at the street for the duration of winter.
The Rabbit Lake and District Agricultural Association held its annual meeting Jan. 27 and continued planning for the upcoming snowmobile rally March 3 and the Carlton Trail Jamboree in July. Christine MacDonald is the president of the association, Alan Laughlin the vice-president, Colleen Woodcock the secretary and Amanda Moore the treasurer. Ticket books are out and about for the rally.
The community was not too happy to see a big U-Haul parked at Daniel and Jenn Konopelskis' house last week. Daniel has taken on employment in his area of training in southern Alberta. We wish Daniel, Jenn, Jacob and Andrew good luck in their new home and in their new work situation.
To create balance the community is very pleased to welcome Edie and Ruth Utz as new residents in one of the units. We invite you to join into the activities of the community so we get to know each other.
The Rabbit Lake Community Hall Board held its annual meeting Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The hall is a very important part of the community and the board welcomes feedback from residents regarding its use and function.
And what are the Olde Mill Players up to this year? Apparently we will find out later in February as we watch the drama, Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner, at the Mayfair Hall. This is always a good laugh and a great meal.
