Bob and Lynn Douglas of Saskatoon have been spending some time camping at Silver Lake and visiting friends in the area.
Bill Yaworenko, who was a lifelong resident in the Neilburg area, passed away in June. A funeral service was held in Neilburg Hall June 16 and he was buried in Waseca Cemetery.
A quiet person, Bill took part, with friends in Waseca and area, in events in Waseca. We extend our sympathy to his family and friends.
Betty Campbell, who grew up in the Walter district attending school there, took her Grade 12 in Waseca School in 1947. Most of her working years were spent at the University of Saskatoon where she was employed as registrar. Her death occurred unexpectedly early this spring and her ashes were recently interred in Waseca Cemetery. She will be missed by her family and friends. We extend our sympathy to them.
