A number of ladies enjoyed coffee at Pine Island Suites Tuesday morning. It was show and tell day and there were some interesting things. There were knitted articles, bird nests, old Eaton's catalogues, sleigh bells, First World War service medals, crocheting and sewing. It was an enjoyable morning.

Claire Paton took a load of ladies to Lashburn to an evening called Crimson Ice. The singing, vendors and supper were much enjoyed. There were many door prizes and the centerpieces of live Christmas cactus were given away to a lucky person at each table.

Jean Stewart, Eva Inkster, Dorothy Kissick, Tillie Linkert, Hazel MacEachern and I all enjoyed the Border Tones at Pine Island Lodge yesterday afternoon. The Grade 4 class from the school were there singing and dancing much to the delight of everyone.

We are glad to report Theresa Kennedy is back in Maidstone Hospital after hip surgery. She seems to be doing just fine. She'sglad to be closer to home.

Duncan MacEachern of Marsden was a Sunday visitor with Hazel and I.

Hazel MacEachern returned to Saskatoon Wednesday after spending three weeks with me. She appreciated getting a ride back with Marion Stoughton who took her mom Jean Stewart for a medical appointment.

Now that November is coming to the end everyone is thinking of Christmas.
