Screams were heard from outside, as people waited in line for the Comp in Action's annual haunted house Oct. 23 at the Western Development Museum's Great Pumpkin Masquerade and Family Dance.

Comp in Action is a group of students from North Battleford Comprehensive High School who raise money for a variety of charities. The group consists of 15 to 20 students. CIA lasts all year long doing a variety of activities like the haunted house, bake sales and more. All proceeds of the haunted house went to the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club.

Visitors to the haunted house encountered; a balloon dart game, a fortune teller, a magician who had cut apart one too many people, a ventriloquist, a human dartboard, a pregnant psycho, conjoined twins and a gut girl. The main attraction was a demon possessed girl. Although some never seemed very scary, their background stories were twisted in a ghoulish way.

After considering all the cries of fear, the money made for the Boys and Girls Club, and the fun they had, the CIA declared their annual haunted house a screaming success.
