Retreat workshops an opportunity to explore

The Chapel Gallery has arranged a variety of workshops for artists of all abilities during the Annual Artist Retreat weekend. Jay Kimball will be facilitating two workshops during the weekend. Adult Pi帽atas is the focus for a workshop Friday, Feb.

The Chapel Gallery has arranged a variety of workshops for artists of all abilities during the Annual Artist Retreat weekend.

Jay Kimball will be facilitating two workshops during the weekend. Adult Pi帽atas is the focus for a workshop Friday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. Jay will guide participants through the process of sculpting a pi帽ata. Registration fee is $40 for members and $65 for non-members.

Kimball will also be presenting a Basic Digital Photography workshop Sunday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. - noon. This is a beginner and intermediate level workshop that will give participants an understanding of how to use the features on their digital camera to take great photographs.

Each workshop is limited to 20 participants.

Painting on Silk will be presented by well known artist, Bonny Macnab. This workshop is Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Macnab uses her wealth of knowledge and well developed skills as an artist and workshop presenter to show participants how to create art work using silk. The registration fee is $75 for members and $115 for non-members. This workshop is limited to 15 participants.
