July 1 started out rather damp. We were watching the parade go by the apartments. Adults and children had a fun time picking up the peanuts and candy.
Amanda and Terrance Pinder and family were in to visit Grandma Audrey Bertrand.
Nephew Doug and Flo Hartry of Prince George, B.C. stopped in on their way to Winnipeg to visit Aunt Eva Inkster.

Tillie Linhert attended the Waseca 100th anniversary. She enjoyed the bus tour to Forest Bank and Battle Vole. Was also nice to see the old friends and acquaintances.
Sunday night the heavy winds did some damage in town. Tore up trees and put the power out for a while. They are getting things cleaned up now.
Took daughter Hazel back to Saskatoon after spending a couple weeks at home. A lot of water lying on the fields.
July the first Theresa Kenedy's family took her to Silver Lake where she enjoyed Kentucky Fried Chicken.
