SaskEnergy continues their support of Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation's Festival of Trees carnival and bazaar day as a silver sponsor for the North Pole.
"Their contribution ensures whimsically decorated school trees remain a part of the festival of trees," noted Claudette McGuire, executive director of BUH Foundation. She added, "SaskEnergy has long been a strong community supporter and we are very pleased to be working with them again. Their generous contribution will assist greatly in our fundraising efforts for monitors and IV pumps for emergency, the chemotherapy unit, surgical ward and the women's health and birthing centre at BUH."
The festival of trees; carnival and bazaar day will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Gold Ridge Centre in North Battleford. There are numerous children's activities including face painting, pictures with Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, making tree decorations with the North Stars, raffle prizes and shopping in Santa's Gift Shop, as well as live entertainment for all to enjoy. It is a chance to view and bid on the beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, centrepieces and other seasonal items. Lunch will be available at Santa's Sweet Shoppe.
