A comprehensive website has been developed to assist teachers, support staff, parents and students learn more about Treaty 6 and First Nations/M茅tis and Inuit ways of knowing. The website features numerous resources, stories, pictures, and a game designed for students.

The website is located at http://treaty6education.lskysd.ca.

Living Sky teachers have created curriculum units for Grades 5 to 8 in social studies, ELA, science and arts education. More units will be added to the website in the coming year.

Contributions from students, in the form of interviews and project documentation, will also be added.

"Living History: Telling our Stories" will bring aboriginal guest artists and cultural leaders to our schools. The workshops will be available to all Living Sky schools from January - May, 2012.

The workshops are intended to enrich the curriculum, including the online units but not restricted to those topics. The workshops are funded through Living Sky School Division and Saskatchewan Culture's Aboriginal Leadership grant.
