(From Oct. 12) Lil and Milt McMillan had Thanksgiving supper with Darlene and Gary Robb.
Last week, Lil McMillan was to Edmonton, Alta. for an eye appointment. She said there was a lot of crop out around Vegreville and Vermilion, Alta.
Sam and Barb Kennedy brought Theresa Kennedy a lovely Thanksgiving supper Sunday. Theresa was unable to get out.
Last week, Dorothy Kissick was to Unity trade fair with her daughter, Vicki.
Saturday, Cindy and Joe picked up Dorothy Kissick and took her to Vermilion, Alta. were they had supper with Nathan and Angell Blanchette.
Monday, Dorothy Kissick had supper at the home of her granddaughter, Tallie and Rowdy Stoughton.
Thelma Lundell had Thanksgiving supper with Marilyn and Gary Taylor.
Wayne Inkster of Medicine Hat, Alta. spent the weekend with his mother, Eva Inkster. They spent Thanksgiving Sunday with the Gregsons at Paynton.
Tillie Linkert spent their traditional Thanksgiving at the cabin at Loon Lake with all the family. It is their tradition that everyone wear a plaid jacket. Even her 10-month-old grandson wore one. They all enjoyed their gathering.
Norma Lott was surprised to see her grandson Aaron Grimley of Oman, Jordan. He was at the home of Shane and Amanda Grimley when she went there for Thanksgiving breakfast. Monday everyone had supper at the Burt's to celebrate Shelly Grimley's birthday. Many happy returns, Shelly.
Morris Stewart of Leduc, Alta. was in to visit his mom, Jean Stewart, and at his sisters' Marion and Bill Stoughton.
Saturday, Jim, Janelle Stewart and family picked up gramdma Jean Stewart and took her to Cameron and Betty Stewart's of Paynton where they enjoyed a turkey supper.
Sunday, Bill Stoughton picked up Jean Stewart and took her for a drive and them home for supper. Jean really enjoyed seeing new country.
Colleen Koski took Marlene Pick to Lloydminster for a medical appointment.
Tuesday, Colleen Koski was to Lloydminster to taker her mom May Ford, to a medical appointment. Everything was fine.
Ken and Rylie Koskie were to Colleen's for Sunday supper.
Audrey Bertrand enjoyed Thanksgiving supper with her daughter Laurie and family.
I enjoyed a visit with Clair Panton and trainee Julie Tuesday evening.
Our sympathy to the familyof the late Shirley Williamson. Shirley will be greatly missed by everyone.
While writing up this news, I think we all have a lot to be thankful for. The weather is just great and harvest was good.
