We wish Lil McMillan all the best as she hasn't been well this last week.
Eva Inkster and myself enjoyed the Kaiser and Cribbage Tournament last Saturday at the Legion Hall. Good to report we came out on top in cribbage. Dorothy Schwartz and Carolyn Smith were tops in Kaiser. It was a very enjoyable afternoon, but icy roads stopped many from attending.
Morris Stewart of Leduc, Alberta and Jimmie Stewart of Lloydminster both stopped to visit Jean Stewart. They were on their way to attend the bull sale at Cameron and Betty Stewart's at Paynton.
Jean Stewart and myself went down to Paynton to the bull sale. The roads were very icy but we took it slow and arrived safely.
Our sympathy goes out to Anne Reeds, George Innis and Jean Stewart on the passing of Emmerson Innis of Edmonton, who had been fighting cancer. He is a brother of Anne and George and a nephew of Jean Stewart.
