February was once again a busy month for members of the Maidstone Gully 4-H Club.

Feb. 4 and 5 the junior curling team headed to Biggar for regionals where they lost out in the B final. The Canwood team was unable to attend provincials, so the team headed to Melville Feb. 17 to 19. It was a great opportunity and lots of fun. Members thank Mr. Bray for the time he spent working with the junior curlers.

Feb. 2 the club hosted communications night. The members who continue on to the districts are Cole Doud in Coverbuds, Doug Sroka for juniors, Megan Danychuk for intermediates and Meckenzie Dekker for seniors. Lauren Harmel was junior runner up and will be replacing Doug.

The district event is in Waseca Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come watch.

The cowboy poetry night is March 10 and tickets are $15. Please contact a member if you would like tickets.

Members are also selling the third edition of the 4-H cookbook for $15. The club's next meeting is March 5.
