Here's how to track Santa along his flight route this Christmas Eve

Happy Christmas Eve! Santa Claus is coming to town 鈥 tonight! 鈥 and he's already on his way.

He听and his reindeer have departed on their annual around-the-world journey to deliver presents to everyone who earned a spot on the nice list this year.

As Santa and his sleigh take to the skies,听the Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command has听once again accepted "the听mission of monitoring and escorting Santa as he completes his magical journey through Canadian airspace."

This year marks the organization's听65th consecutive year tracking Santa鈥檚 yuletide journey, NORAD confirmed in a news release.听

听鈥淯tilizing the North Warning System's powerful radar and satellite systems, we are able to see into the North better than ever, allowing us to track Santa more precisely, ensuring he has a safe trip through North American airspace,"听said Maj.-Gen.听Eric Kenny, commander of the Canadian NORAD region in the release.

Eager Santa-watchers can head to the to see where Santa currently is on his flight path. At the time of publication, St. Nick was en route to Victoria, in the Seychelles, after 小蓝视频听last seen in听Mogadishu, Somalia. He's delivered over 2.4 million presents, as of 1:15 p.m. PST.听
