Family Day was enjoyed at Hillcrest Seniors' Centre, Battleford Feb. 18. Thank you, Jon and Thelma, for the perfect family day; you two make a fantastic host and hostess. Family and friends were there from Edmonton, Calgary, Slave Lake and various other places. The crowd was entertained by young and old. And as always the food was suburb - potluck, yum.
The Mayfair dinner show was a great show and again the food was superb. Thanks for the Sunday entertainment, ladies and gentlemen. And also two thumbs up for Muriel and Kolan.
A 50th birthday celebration was held at the Maymont Seniors' Centre for Eva Babineau. Family and friends gathered to celebrate this event.
Two other birthdays that were celebrated were Kari Carpentier and Mel Deagnon. Happy birthday, guys, and a great supper, Mary.
Get well wishes to our dear friend Tom Caldwell who has been a guest at the Battlefords Union Hospital. Hopefully, by the time you read this, he will be home.
We would also like to wish our dear friend Muriel Kotelko, who is also a guest at the Battlefords Union Hospital, to take care and come home soon.
There will be another potluck supper and entertainment at the Maymont Senior Centre, Feb. 29.
