The Village of Denholm will celebrate 100 years of incorporation in 2012.
The event will be celebrated June 29, 30 and July 1.
Organizers have tried not to miss anyone in sending out invitations to this event, but if you have been missed, please contact a committee member.
Registration is Friday, June 29 from 7 to 10 p.m. There will be coffee and dainties, a canteen and a bar. The evening will feature visiting with old friends and neighbours. Pictures and memorabilia will be on display.
Souvenir clocks will be available for purchase all three days of the reunion and picture albums will be for sale.?
Saturday, June 30 the canteen opens at 9 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be for sale. A parade is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and starting at 11:30 a.m. the canteen will have lunch for sale.
The bar opens at 1 p.m. and their will be outdoor entertainment from 1 to 5 p.m. A children's play area will also be offered during those hours.
A catered supper will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This is a catered supper, and guests must be registered before a May 15 deadline to participate.
The evening will feature a dance starting at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 1 a.m., if conditions are favourable.
An non-denominational church service will be hosted at 9 a.m. with a pancake and sausage breakfast served from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
