Jolene Gabrysh was guest of honour at a bridal shower May 28 in the Ruddell Centre hosted by her aunt, Lynette Schmidt, and Jolene's friend and bridesmaid, Jessica Gray.
Lynette welcomed everyone and read a short history of Jolene's life to date. Lynette, with Jessica's help, entertained all with a couple of games that had Jolene "well-roasted" and well fed on candy! The gifts were presented and opened. Jolene expressed her thanks to everyone. Jolene is the granddaughter of Garry and Carolyn Schmidt of Ruddell.
Jolene and Brennan Prescesky are making their home on the former Perry Prescesky acreage. Jolene is employed at the credit union.

There will be a steak night June 24 at Maymont Hotel. All proceeds go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
There is a garage sale at Maymont Hall June 25. Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be for sale. Anyone having donations can call Jay at 389-4847.
