The Mayfair Art Club held a show and tea in the Mayfair Hall on May 1.
A spring theme welcomed visitors as 15 members f the club showed their talents to an appreciative crowd. The work of guest artists Doreen Kalmakoff from Blaine Lake and Al Weitzel from Saskatoon was admired and envied. The local club was honoured to have them in attendance.
Tea, scones and fruit were served by courteous young waiters to all who attended. Flowers for centerpieces were displayed on the tastefully decorated tables. Their containers were hand painted by the artists and were sold of by silent auction.
Sharing an enjoyable afternoon is a sure sign this tiny community is still thriving and culturally active.
