Piano teacher Kathy Franks held her annual year-end recital last week. She aims to share a love of music as well as technique with her students. This year students were from grades 1-9 in school as well as an adult who wanted to learn before her young children are old enough for lessons. Seven of her students participated in the music festival in Lloydminster this month with every one earning a 1st or 2nd certificate in their classes. The recital offered a lively variety of tunes.
