All good things must come to an end and so it goes with the beautiful spring weather. On Sunday morning we woke to the familiar sight of snow. Even the birds seemed confused by the quick turnaround in the weather. We have some magpies building a nest near our house. They definitely need to consider central heating if it stays like this!
Congratulations to Chad and Erin Kuffert on the birth of a daughter, Violet Cecelia, April 10. Violet weighed in at seven pounds 12 ounces and is a granddaughter to Eric and Karen Kuffert and great-granddaughter to Jake and Cecelia Krahn and to Irene Kuffert.
We send wishes for a speedy recovery to Pat Price and to Al Richter who both have endured some surgery. We also send get well wishes to Jeremy German, son of Bob and Donna German as he overcomes the results of an accident.
Rabbit Lake Housing Authority has hired Terry Gallant as caretaker/maintenance person.
Friday the 13th the Rabbit Lake branch of the Lakeland Library hosted a genealogy session with 12 people taking part. Roselie Jarvis led the group through steps to write an interesting family history. Everyone enjoyed the session and enjoyed Rosalie's style of presentation as well.
I thought I had accounted for all the snowbirds in the last reporting but somehow Art Penner got home under the radar. Now they are all home!
