MELFORT - Cal Gratton, MTACC Executive Director said they had over 100 vehicles registered for the Melfort Car Show and Shine.
More than 2,000 people took in the event, Gratton said, adding that the business community sees a substantial economic boom during the car show and shine with lots of participants and spectators coming early and enjoying the shopping downtown. In addition, a number of businesses embraced the Greased Lightning theme.
The Melfort Legion was selling pulled pork and poutine. The Northeast Christian Fellowship had their kids' zone once again with bouncy castles and kids activities. Many non-profit organizations were selling items of interest.
There were 103 entries this year which is about average Gratton said. He also thanked the sponsors.
