STOLZ: Verena Agnes

June 27, 1933 – August 6, 2015

It is with profound sadness that the family of Verena Agnes (nee Beuker) Stolz of Humboldt, SK, announces her passing on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. She was 82 years of age. Verena was born to Leo and Julianna (nee Faul) Beuker in Humboldt on June 27, 1933. She grew up on the family farm west of Humboldt and attended Dixon Country School. Following her education, Verena was employed by Dr. Ogilvie as a housekeeper. On November 23, 1954, she married the love of her life, Arnold Stolz. Their union was blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter. Verena was an invaluable help-mate to her husband as they farmed together side-by-side for many years. As well, she was an excellent homemaker whose sewing, cooking, and baking skills were second-to-none. Verena had a passion for gardening, especially her flowers. She and Arnold also loved traveling and many memories were made on visits to Florida, Arizona, a Caribbean cruise, and their favorite vacation spot, Las Vegas.
