KALTHOFF: Sharon
Sharon “Sherry” was born to Adolf and Alice (nee Loeffler) Lang on October 10, 1957 in Humboldt, SK. She grew up and attended school in Middle Lake. On February 15, 1975, Sherry married the love of her life, Myles Kalthoff. Together the happy couple farmed in the Fulda area and raised three boys. Later in years when the boys were in school, Sherry went back to school where she took accounting and insurance courses. She pursued her profession in accounting and insurance with Hergott, Seidel & Associates for the last 18 years until recently retiring on April 30, 2014. Sherry loved the fun things in life such as having supper in the field with family and friends, camping, fishing, vacationing (enjoying hot holidays every winter), computer games and of course the Shopping Channel. Sherry’s true pride and joy were spending time with Myles, her boys and the grandkids. Family was the utmost importance to her. Sherry will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband of 39 years, Myles Kalthoff of Humboldt; their three sons and four grandchildren: Brendan (Amy) Kalthoff and children Delaney and Kaybri of Humboldt; Kirby Kalthoff and son Dylan of Humboldt; and Kyle Kalthoff (fiancée Cori-Lynn Rutter) and son Kenneth of Humboldt; sisters: Jeannette (Donald) Hoffman of Middle Lake; and Arlene (Cliff) Wedewer of Cudworth; brother-in-law, Doug Wedewer of Cudworth; in-laws: Karen (Ralph) Fleischhacker of Humboldt; Wayne Kalthoff of Humboldt; and Neil (Maryann) Kalthoff of Demeter, AB; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Sherry was predeceased by her parents, Adolf and Alice Lang; daughter, Holly Kalthoff in infancy, December 6, 1985; sister, Brenda Wedewer; sister-in-law, Caroline Kalthoff; parents-in-law, Sylvester Kalthoff, Lydia Kloppenburg and Henry Kloppenburg. A Prayer Service for Sherry was held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. presided by Nestor Trach. A Funeral Mass was offered on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Paul Paproski, OSB. Both services took place at St. Augustine R.C. Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s R.C. Cemetery, Fulda, SK.
