Rosemarie (nee Moritz) EnrightDecember 2, 1940 - December 8, 2011

The death of Rosemarie (nee Moritz) Enright of Bruno, SK, occurred at Humboldt District Hospital, Humboldt, SK, on Thursday, December 8, 2011. She was 71 years of age. Rosemarie was born on December 2, 1940, to Frank and Elizabeth (nee Gyoerick) Moritz at Bruno in the home of "Nurse Hering", and was the second oldest of eight children. She grew up on a farm north of Bruno and attended Willing School. After Rosemarie left school, she worked as a domestic for the neighbors, and then as a telephone operator in Middle Lake. In 1960, she moved to British Columbia and worked in a caf茅 and a bakery. Eventually, Rosemarie returned to Saskatchewan and met Tom Enright in Saskatoon. On June 18, 1966, she and Tom were married in Bruno. In 1983, Rosemarie was left a widow. She returned home to Bruno in 2004, and settled into Prairieview Senior Housing. Rosemarie and Tom had adopted two children, Sherri in 1970 and Monte in 1972. Tracy was born in 1974. Rosemarie was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and was always happy to hear from all of them. She was looking forward to spending Christmas with them this year. In her leisure time, Rosemarie enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching T.V., and listening to music. Rosemarie will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters and six grandchildren: Tracy (Darek) Cookman of Lloydminster, SK, and family, Jasmin and Jayden; and Sherri (Rob) Sterr of Ardrossan, AB, and family, Megan, Jessica, Bryan and Melissa; her special friend, Brian Madison of Bruno; three sisters and three brothers: Erna Glaser, Ernest (Alice) Moritz and Rudy (Annie) Mortiz, all of Bruno; Francis (Joanne) Moritz of Saskatoon; Rita Leefe of Bruno, and Linda Pickering (Brian Schmidt) of Martensville; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Enright (1983); son, Monte Enright (1989); infant daughter, Charlotte (1973); grandson, Nolan Sterr (1995); father, Frank Moritz (1997); mother, Elizabeth (nee Gyoerick) Moritz (2006); and by brother-in-law, Herbert Glaser (2000). The Prayer Service for Rosemarie was held at St. Bruno R.C. Church, Bruno, on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., presided by Fr. Joseph Ackerman, OSB. Others taking part in the service were: Chelsea Glaser and Jasmin Cookman, scripture readers; Erna Glaser, eulogist; Annie Moritz, organist; and the St. Bruno R.C. Church Choir. The Funeral Mass was offered at St. Bruno R.C. Church on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Joseph Ackerman, OSB. Others taking part were: Jessica Sterr, crossbearer; Jocelyn Demong-Moritz and Samuel Rivet, altar servers; Emilie Glaser and Jasmin Cookman, scripture readers; Emilie Glaser, intentions; Darek Cookman, urnbearer; Erna Glaser and Linda Pickering, gift bearers; and Joan Rieger and Helen Thimm, memorial table attendants. Interment followed at St. Bruno R.C. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Bruno Parish Building Fund.
