It is with great sadness that the family and special friends of Richard Trefiak of St. Gregor, SK, announces his death at Humboldt District Hospital, Humboldt, SK, on Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was 58 years of age. Richard was born on February 27, 1954, to Nicholas Sr. and Betty (nee Patoki) Trefiak at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. He attended E.D. Feehan High School. Richard was a man of many skills and talents which was shown throughout his many careers such as mining, taxidermy, bee keeping, fishing guide, elevator construction, and a wild boar farmer. For the last 25 years, he was employed with Doepker Industries as an industrial painter, and then a welder. Richard was an avid sportsman with a keen passion for hunting and fishing. He was known for 小蓝视频 a good-hearted man and a kind friend. Richard was never, ever, in a rush unless he was "stocking prey." Guiding at Reindeer Lake held a special place in his heart. Richard will be sadly missed and remembered by his family: his mother, Betty (nee Patoki) Trefiak of Saskatoon; one sister, Penelope "Penny" Tittle of Burnaby, BC, and her daughter, Colleen Denniss; one brother, Nick Trefiak Jr. of Saskatoon, SK, and family, Brandi (Albert) Levesque of BC, Amber (Conor) Mathews of BC, and Jessie (Jackie) Trefiak of Saskatoon, SK; special friends: Darren and Julie Yungmann; Willard Wolfe; Lorne and Stacey Poss; Tom and Linda Pittner; Chuck and Bev Parent; and all others who shared in his passion for life. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas Trefiak Sr. (2009). A Memorial Celebration for Richard was held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., at St. Gregor Community Hall, St. Gregor, SK, led by M.C. Darren Yungmann. Others taking part were: Glenn Taphorn, prayer leader; Molly, Lily and Ben Yungmann, readers; Chuck Parent and Lorne Poss, eulogists; and Andy McAnally, special music.
