BRUMWELL: Katherine
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Katherine "Kay" Brumwell on January 25th, 2014 . She left this world peacefully surrounded by her children in Saskatoon at the age of 75. Kay was born January 9th, 1939 to Paul and Agnes (n茅e Ceaser) Auchstaetter in Watson, SK. After graduating from Watson High School, she attended Teacher's College in Saskatoon. This is where she met Ted. She taught at many schools including Daphne, Westasta Valley and Herschel. She married Ted on October 13th, 1958 and they were blessed with three children: Jim, Joanne and Judy. Teaching was put on hold as raising her family became number one. After moving to Rosetown in 1970, she enjoyed curling, golfing and playing bridge with friends. Over the years she kept herself busy as an Avon representative, a bookkeeper, a substitute teacher, fastball manager, and all that comes with 小蓝视频 a mom. Going to Aquadeo during the summer months was something she enjoyed and there she was able to golf and visit with family and friends. She enjoyed a good game of Yatzee, bingo and spent many countless hours putting together jigsaw puzzles. Her later years found her overcoming various health issues and limiting her abilities. She moved into Saskatoon to be closer to family and was able to access outings to bingo and grandchildren's activities. Kay leaves to mourn her three children: Jim of Swift Current, Joanne(Ron) of Saskatoon and Judy(Larry) of Kyle; also 10 grandchildren: Stephanie, Sandy, Jill(Damen) and Karen; Ben, Chris and Chantel; Sharlyn(Cody) Jeremy and Kaitlyn; plus her newest and proudest title of Great-Grandma to Josiah and Amarah; two brothers, Ron Auchstaetter and Tom(Sharon) Auchstaetter; one sister, Diane(John) Moskaluke; and brother-in-law, Bill(Ebba) Brumwell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted and her parents, Paul and Agnes.
