It is with heavy hearts the family of Hedy Bernhard (nee Bauml) formerly of聽Muenster, Saskatchewan announce her passing on Monday May 15, 2017 at the Tofield, Alberta Long Term Care Centre at the age of 92.聽聽 Hedy was born to Jacob and Kathryn Bauml in 1925 and resided in Marysburg,聽Saskatchewan until she married Alfred Bernhard in 1944. They farmed in the Muenster area until 1974 when they moved to the village of Muenster.聽 Hedy is survived by her 8 children: 聽Myrna Pomfret, Gene (Josie) Bernhard, Gord (Lorraine) Bernhard, Ken聽(Wendy) Bernhard, Judy (Gary) Smail, Deby (Ken) Pace, Marilee (Doug)聽Jones, Sharon (Reg) Hofmann; 14 grandchildren; 8 great聽grandchildren; and 1 brother Gary (Serena) Bauml. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred; her brothers Herbert, Jerome,聽Daniel; her sister Rose and her son in law Bert Pomfret. 聽The funeral services will be held at St. Peter鈥檚 Catholic Cathedral in Muenster, Saskatchewan on June 10,聽2017 at 10:00 a.m.
