Sonny was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Leona (Wisser) in 2003, his parents Albert Sr and Alice, and sisters, Frances, Martha and Margaret. Sonny was born in Humboldt, January 18, 1920 and lived in Lake Lenore, SK until 2003 when he moved to Saskatoon to be closer to family. Dad was a farmer and proud to be one, but his true passion was hunting and fishing and lots of it! He always said if he combined all the goose pits he dug in his life he would have been in China! Other loves were the cabin at Marean Lake, fishing at Lake Lenore Lake, a good game of buck where the knuckles were pounded on the table. He loved gardening, especially growing poppies and pumpkins. He enjoyed the slots at the casino and most importantly he loved his children and grandchildren. At Dad's request there will be no funeral service. Dad's ashes will be placed with Mom's ashes at Lake Lenore cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's RC Cemetery Fund in Lake Lenore, SK or charity of choice.
