Yorkton Richardson Pee Wee Tier II Tournament

Yorkton Minor Hockey held their annual Yorkton Richardson Pee Wee Tier II tournament this past weekend as 12 teams from out of town joined the four Yorkton pee wee clubs for a 16 team tournament.

Yorkton Minor Hockey held their annual Yorkton Richardson Pee Wee Tier II tournament this past weekend as 12 teams from out of town joined the four Yorkton pee wee clubs for a 16 team tournament.

The Mark’s Work Wearhouse Terriers were the only Yorkton team to win their final game throughout the tournament, beating Weyburn 4-0 in the ‘D’ Final. They had also beaten the Melville Blues while falling to the Prairie Storm 6-4 and Hudson Bay Hunters 7-5.

The Premier Cabinets Terriers finished with a 1-2 record, losing to the Regina Bisons 5-4 before defeating the Melville Blues 5-2. They then lost to Hudson Bay 9-0 in the ‘B’ side semi-finals.

Also falling in the ‘B’ side semi’s were the Snap-On Terriers, who lost 7-3 to the Melville Edge after previously defeating Weyburn 9-3 and losing 12-4 to Moose Jaw.

The Petro Canada Terriers went winless, falling to eventual champion Redvers 10-0 before losing to the Melville Edge 6-4 and Weyburn.

Redvers won the ‘A’ side beating the Regina Bisons 4-1, Hudson Bay took the ‘B’ side with a 5-4 win over the Edge while the Saskatoon Wild Outlaws edged the Saskatoon Hitmen Flyers 4-3 in the ‘C’ side final.
